hi, i have a competative racing bike and i bought it with 650c wheels. is it possible to upgrade to 700c wheels or will i need to purchace o new bike?
It's extremely unlikely that 700c wheels would fit a frame that is made for 650c wheels. The difference in diameter between the two sizes is 51mm or about 2 inches. Even if you could stuff the wheel in, the brakes wouldn't adjust that far.

The frame will likely be too small. And yes, Tom, there are road bikes with 650c wheels.

Hey Shane – you can probably sell your 650 for what you paid for it to a smaller rider – a girl or younger boy who's just starting racing – check with your local shop or cycling club, the small bikes are hard to come by and for a new racer second hand is always good – keeps the parents happier!
But no for sure you can not put 700 cc wheels on that frame as they just won't fit.
