Free Online Jigsaw Puzzles

Playing jigsaw puzzles online is fun as you don´t need to worry about losing pieces or trying to keep them all together.

There are many to choose from including offerings from MSN, Yahoo and Pogo. What annoys me with most games online are the adverts you have to sit through.

One of my favorite free online jigsaw puzzles is uVme´s Jigsaw war and its not just for the lack of ads.  The objective of the game is to complete the jigsaw puzzle before time runs out, so keep an eye on the timer – the game lasts for 5 minutes at the most. Through the use of the timer uVme has made it possible to compete with others, as the time taken to complete the puzzle is taken into account when scoring a game. If the puzzle is not completed then the number of pieces put in the right positions is used to calculate the score.

To make the game even more competitive, uVme allows you to challenge other players. You can start by playing just a regular game and uVme will assign you an opponent. You will both then see who can finish the puzzle in the shortest amount of time. Once you have completed your puzzle, you’ll get to see who came in with the fastest time.

At this point, you’ll have the option to challenge your opponent to a rematch. You can do this for free, or if you would like, you can place a small wager on the game. The person that wins gets to keep the bet. This makes jigsaw puzzles a lot more fun and a lot more challenging.
