In the past several years there has been a surge of anime style games hitting the market. These games are amongst the most widely used games that are sold, but are also lots of the strangest. Why are anime style games so widely used and will this trend maintain in the future?

Many of them are totally untouched, including anime style voices and language. This stands out to the hardcore gamer that craves as untainted of a game as he can purchase. It additionally appeals to fans that may be interested in Japanese culture and influence.

Still, the majority of gamers that enjoy anime style games are ones that are just looking for something unique. Straight from Japan games are unlike anything that U.S. manufacturers would ever come up with. Common factors like the animations and story line are completely opposite. One final reason for why this trend is becoming stronger is that Japanese influence has moved into all areas of life.
