Helloliloliloli!….. Yet another nice adventure game recorded. I never managed to finish this one as a kid, didn’t have internet nor a walkthrough, but I did get very far, like 90%.
There are two arcade games in this game which I could avoid with ease, like just taking the train. Instead (this being a longplay and I want to show most of the good stuff) I took another way there, which lead to arcade action (using a gamepad to shoot and stuff). I never encounted these arcade parts as a kid… mainly because it’s easy to do wrong in this game thus ruining the chance to play them.
This game has several death scenes, an alternate ending (if you don’t rescue your girlfriend), it has a cool game over scene were you see the badguys pour some toxic stuff into the water supply…. then how people turn into monsters when drinking the water (which is what you are suppose to stop in the game of course)…. and many many more cool scenes…. also, you can go on a date with the hooker in the bar….hehe, you flirt and take a stroll with her on your way home to her for a nice SHAG!…. then suddently your GF comes and beat the crap out of you! 
. Another nice scene is when you fail to save you GF in the chair… she mutates and stuff and you hold her in your arms shouting revenge or something… etc etc etc… I didn’t bother to record them all and edit them into the video…. you have to play the game if you want to see em all… the ones I mentioned above was just a few.

The voices enhance the experience so much, you won’t mind that everything has a green tint (which didn’t take anything away, either)

I like that in the PC version if you died in the arcade bit, you could actually choose to bypass it. Great game, reminded me a little of Snatcher on the Sega CD.

i played this game with a pc and listened to the soundtrack in midi-format while ago… But wtf seems that amiga version had .mod-soundtrack which sounds awesome.
With all the time …
With all the time constraints, both in terms of the whole storyline, and in given situations, I found myself having to react quicker in this game than any other game of any genre at the time. Heck, maybe any time. However, while this along with more usual adventure game fare makes the game rather unforgiving, “Rise of the Dragon” is definitely the most thrilling video game in my recollection.
