I tried putting tape around them, but they still slip down…
Any suggestions?
The socks fall down because they lost the elastic in them, you probably are going to have to buy new socks.

did they even trade him or was he just released as a free agent? either way i love the guy and im sad to see that he is gone but hes old now and the royals couldnt afford to keep paying his salary.
sweeney was a free agent and was SIGNED by the athletics to a non roster invite. Royals got nothing.

Are they televising the american football world cup on any channels?

I have been wanting to see some of these games that have been going on in what is called the american football world cup which feature teams from diferent countries which players are actually from, supposedly Japan is the best team for the past couple of years and I know there is finally a USA team competing and I would like to see that, anyone know if they are showing this on tv and when?
That's ashame headhunta53 you would think football fans would be all over this, it would be even more shameful if USA lost.
I can't be too sure, but i believe it is not being televised, ive checked everywhere. I think us two are the only people in the US that kno what it is lol.

Tips on making a action adventure comic book with a heroine main character?

What would you like to see in an action adventure comic with a female main character ? Or what does it have ti have in it to be good to you ?
oh by comic book doesn't necessarily mean it will follow the same marval stereotype with a superhero in a modern city. Just think of it as manga but more american-y and with kidna different art.
Well most of the heroines I see with heir own book in comics are either caucasian. Their overtly busty model-esque and more of a male fantasy figure. I'd like to see women of color and maybe a different nationality. Superpowers doesn't have to be included but the way you use and receive powers does. Unusual heroines are always best. If they have powers let it be something that may not be considered the most useful or attractive of powers for a female. break the cookie cutter mold and create the unusual. Make your story interesting and draw us in. Think how can this character appeal to both genders male and female. (e.g. Ripley from ALIEN)

Can anyone point me toward some books featuring strong, young female heroes (characters in ages 12-early 20's)? maybe of the mystery/action/adventure type? or like a female version of james bond, harry potter or artemis fowl?
or maybe some sort of dark thriller w/ a reluctant hero? i like characters who have to overcome their own personal flaws on top of all their other conflicts.
